- I have a friend that is having problems with Crosstalk. Because he doesn't
- have Internet or USENET access I am posting this for him.
- He just bought a copy of Crosstalk for Windows 2.0 and has noticed some
- problems with the program. He is wondering if there are others experiencing
- the same problems.
-
- 1. He cannot consistently connect to certain hosts. Sometimes Xtalk will
- senses a carrier detect and other times it doesn't and tries to redial.
-
- 2. He is unable to set to the terminal so that he can directly send modem
- commands. One of the places he dials into has dialback security. He knows
- that Xtalk has a auto-answer script but he does not want that type of feature
- enabled. He wants to be able to type ATA to the terminal so that Xtalk will
- answer the phone when he wants to tell it too.
-
- 3. In VT320 emulation he cannot get the break key to work. Also when
- trying to define new keys he cannot seem to create new key definitions.
- What the manual says is supposed to work does not work at all.
-
- 4. He is having difficulty with the fonts with the application. For
- example the Keyboard Editor he cannot see the whole label of the key. The
- font is too big. He wants to know if there is a way to adjust the font.
- Another instance when he uses Session Settings all of the fonts are messed up.
- (He can't see all of the words or options because they are hidden underneath
- the icon button list. Plus there are some strange boxes outlined in the
- dialog box (Sessions Settings) that he has no idea what they are for.
- It looks like something that happens when you first build an application
- and you made a mistake in how you designed the dialog box. He thinks that it
- is because he has set windows in SVGA mode.
-
- Any comments or suggestions is more than welcome.
