- Actually there are several answers to this question. First, add a line to the
- SYSTEM.INI file in your Windows directory under [386Enhanced]
- MouseInDOSBox=1
- Then make sure that you load a mouse driver in DOS, either in the CONFIG.SYS or
- AUTOEXEC.BAT, prior to starting Windows. This will make the mouse available to
- most DOS applications running in a window. WordPerfect 5.1 is another story.
- There have been some reports that in order for WordPerfect to recognize the
- mouse, you must start it full screen. Once it has started, you can switch it
- over to a window and the mouse should work. [I haven't tried this yet myself,
- so I can't swear that it works.]
