  15. A couple of days ago, I asked for opinions on Word, Word for Windows, and
  16. WordPerfect.  I received a tremendous response (thanks to all who took the
  17. time to send me mail).

  19. By and large, the overwhelming majority recommended Word for Windows.  Many
  20. pointed out the interface was very similar to that of Word for the Mac (which
  21. was important to me).  Almost everyone said steer clear of Word (no graphical 
  22. interface).

  24. A couple of people were very happy with WordPerfect, but most had negative
  25. things to say about it.  Several people talked about AMI Pro and, were it
  26. not for my desire to maintain an interface with which I was familiar, I might 
  27. have seriously considered buying it.

  29. Sorry this is so short on detail.  Just thought I'd let folks know what the
  30. majority of responders suggested.
