- We are using MicroX from Startnet. Our setup allows us to run a CAD/CAM package from
- a SS2, displaying it on a 386 or 486 running PC-NFS4.0a using Suns Openwindows3.0 XDM and olwm.
-
- You could easily use X11R4 or X11R5 with twm, instead of Suns XDM and olwm. I tried this.
- You can use TCP/IP or SLIP, instead of PC-NFS. I haven't tried this.
-
- Our version runs in DOS, but they also have a Windows version. I will be demoing this version in 3 weeks.
-
- I personally found MicroX to be better (faster and more rubust) then PC-Xview. This was when I
- demoed them side-by-side 6 months ago.
