  13. Problems with Xserver software and Matlab 4.0

  16. I am using Xserver software on a PC (under Windows 3.1) to run Matlab 4.0
  17. as a X client, which is running on a Sparc system. 
  18. This worked well with version 3.05 of Matlab but with V4.0 I can no longer
  19. run it. When Matlab 4.0 starts it opens a graphics window and displays a 
  20. pretty graph, on the PC this does not happen, matlab justs hangs. 
  21. I have tried both Xvision and eXceed xserver software but get similar results.
  22. With Xvision the program crashes (all clients die) and has to be restarted.
  23. With both programs I am using FTP's PCTCP.

  25. Is anyone out there using Matlab 4.0 with a PC as an Xterminal? If so I would
  26. like to know. Has  anyone  any suggestions or has had similar problems with
  27. Xserver software on PC's?

  29. Matlab 4.0 works well with MacX and if I cannot get it to work with my PC
  30. then it means buying a M-A-C!!!!!
