  27. Someone one posted how "standard" toner would work as the check gets 
  28. magnetized & instantly read, something regular toner can do (though not 
  29. as well).  Occasionally standard toner may not hold the magnetism & cause 
  30. problems but that was not as often as one might imagine.

  37. Someone (Xerox?) was supposedly coming out with a small (~10 ppm) printer 
  38. for small business to use that user MICR toner (supposedly to be made 
  39. readily available at a reasonable cost), so that they could save money on 
  40. business checks.
