  12. I have a 286 12Mhz that (although it's outdated by most standards) still
  13. works fine for me.  Since I only have a 70 Meg HD now, I plan on adding
  14. another in the available half-height slot.  My existing HD has a 28 ms
  15. access time and is RLL (ugh!) interfaced.  So far my choices seem to be:

  17.     Seagate ST277R-1  RLL 28ms 5.25" HH    60 Meg         approx. $219
  18.     Microsci HH1120    "   "    "    "    120 Meg            "    $390

  20. I've heard good reports about Seagate but not much (pro or con) about
  21. Micro Science.

  23. Can anyone offer me either past experience with either of these two
  24. drives or perhaps point me to any other possibilities I might have
  25. overlooked (yes - I use 'pklite' and might soon implement 'stacker'
  26. but I'd still like to add more physical disk space anyway to bring the hardware
  27. up to "reasonable")
