  12.     I have the following questions:
  13. 1. TO simulate disk cache with dos and windows you can either put the
  14. statements
  15. a) devicehigh=c:\smartdrv.sys     in the config.sys file or
  16. b) loadhigh=c:\smartdrv.exe       in the autoexec.bat file
  17.  
  18. What is the difference between the 2 statements?
  19. Also, how much cache would be recommended to have with a total of 4MB ram when
  20. you run windows?

  22. 2. I have aproblem with the path statement of dos.
  23. If I type the following statement in the dos prompt
  24. PATH = C:\DOS; C:\WINDOWS; C:\STACKER;
  25. in capital letters it works but if I put it in a batch file such as the
  26. autoexec.bat file it tells me "Too many parameters". Does anybody have any
  27. ideas as to what the problem might be?
