- Or continue using version 1.10.
-
- I have now thought about the state of the matters, listened what
- others have had to say in comp.compression in particular, and found
- myself two, possible three bugs. From an MsDos FTP archive site
- maintainer's point of view I have no other choice at this stage than
- not accepting .zip uploads if they have not been made with PKZIP
- 1.10 or Info-Zip's garbo.uwasa.fi:/unix/arcers/zip10ex.tar.Z.
-
- For the time being Garbo uploads packed with pkz204c.zip or
- zip19p1.tar.Z are discouraged. (There is nothing wrong with
- zip19p1, mind you!).
-
- I can only hope that these problems are ironed out a.s.a.p.
-
- All the best, Timo
