- I have a 20 MHz 386DX laptop (OLIDATA 8100V) with 2 Mb of RAM. It has a
- 120 Mb hard disk (AT bus) on which I installed two operating systems in
- two different partitions:
-
- - DR DOS 3.41 (Digital Research) in a 95 Mb partition (drive C:);
- - COHERENT 4.0.1 (Mark Williams), a UNIX clone, in a 25 Mb partition.
-
- I would like to purchase the MS-DOS 5.0 upgrade package. My questions
- are: can MS-DOS 5.0 use the DR DOS partition and its files as it is? Do I
- have to reformat the partition during the installation of the upgrade?
- Any suggestion is well accepted. Thanks in advance.
