  13. I have a 20 MHz 386DX laptop (OLIDATA 8100V) with 2 Mb of RAM. It has a
  14. 120 Mb hard disk (AT bus) on which I installed two operating systems in
  15. two different partitions:

  17. - DR DOS 3.41 (Digital Research) in a 95 Mb partition (drive C:);
  18. - COHERENT 4.0.1 (Mark Williams), a UNIX clone, in a 25 Mb partition.

  20. I would like to purchase the MS-DOS 5.0 upgrade package. My questions
  21. are: can MS-DOS 5.0 use the DR DOS partition and its files as it is? Do I
  22. have to reformat the partition during the installation of the upgrade?
  23. Any suggestion is well accepted. Thanks in advance.
