- I have to disagree with that. The needs of a church PC usually cover
- things like word processing and keeping track of records. A 286 will
- fit the bill quite nicely, and will cost very little. As long as your
- not trying to use windows, and assuming you want to upgrade the XT,
- a 286 will do quite nicely. (Well, Windows will work on the 286, but
- what's the point.)

- If you _do_ have the money (and/or need) to upgrade to a 386, don't
- bother with the 386SX! A 386DX will cost very little more, and will
- run quite a bit faster. The 286 gives you pretty good bang for the buck,
- as does a lower end 386 (at the higher end, you might was well get the
- 486SX). The 386SX is not really worth looking at anymore, unless you
- can find a good used motherboard really cheap.
