- In your CONFIG.SYS, insert the following line:
- SHELL=x:\COMMAND.COM /e:640 /p

- Where x is the drive from which you normally boot your system (Drive C:
- probably). Please note that if a copy of COMMAND.COM cannot be found in
- the root of the drive you specify, you will need a boot disk for your
- first floppy drive to correct your error. 8-)
- Also note that the /e: parameter can be set to numbers higher or lower
- than I specified in my sample.
- If you haven't heard of 4DOS, you might want to take a closer look at
- some of the tricks it does with the environment.
