  14. I am presently porting an operating system to a multiprocessor
  15. machine developped at INESC: SMD architecture.
  16.  
  17. I have other colleagues who are porting the OS originally 
  18. developped for the SMD machines to the PC AT.
  19.  
  20. We have been looking for papers/books/doc on methods of
  21. porting Operating Systems. Each of us has followed a different 
  22. strategy.
  23.  
  24. We would like to do some comparative evaluation/research/analysis
  25. of the different methods used to port operating systems.
  26. We would like to have references on the methods both from a 
  27. conceptual/methodological approach, also from the case study type.
  28.  
  29. Could anybody out there provide us with some pointers ?
