  14. I Have a few questions...
  15.  
  16.     1st I have Minix 1.5.10 from PH. One of my disks is corrupt. (The Disk
  17. Containing the /usr/include directories, the /usr/src/lib directories, and the
  18. /usr/src/tools directory) This makes minix about useless. I have asked several 
  19. people  on the net if I could get a copy of their files and have had no success.
  20. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of these files short of buying another
  21. set of disks.

  23.     2nd Are there any patches out there on the net to allow minix to support
  24. more than 2 com ports on the IBM ? (Maybe someone could at least tell me where
  25. to start hacking if I ever get the includes) I would like to use my modem on
  26. COM3 or COM4 with terminals on COM1 and COM2.
  27.  
  28.     3rd Are there any patches around to allow Minix to support TC/IP 
  29. instead of amoeba transactions, or patches to allow Minix to support the
  30. 3COM 3c501 network adapters (once again, maybe someone could point me the right
  31. direction)

  33.     4th In the event that I cannot get a copy of the files that I am 
  34. missing, is there a Unix clone out there as good or better than Minix? ( I 
  35. looked at 386BSD, it does not seem to support multiple users, and 200 Meg is
  36. just a little much for an operating system even with the sources.)

  38. I would really like to stick with Minix, But without the Includes, libs, and 
  39. tools it is just an expensive paperweight.
  40. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
