  12. I've just recently downloaded the version of EMACS for X11 and have a problem.
  13. When I run EMACS under X, my backspace is treated as Control-h (EMACS help).
  14. What is really strange is that my backspace works normally if I start EMACS
  15. outside of X. I've have read FAQs, man pages, etc. with no solution found.
  16. Any ideas?
