- I'm not sure how often the faq's do get posted, but maybe
- more frequently would help? With the number of newbie questions (of which
- I was guilty), maybe posting the FAQ once a week would help?
-
- As well...splitting up the FAQ into its seperate parts, instead
- of one big one, would help also, so they could be posted with a subject
- of FAQ - Networking, FAQ - SLS, etc.
-
- As for the man pages, that one is a little more difficult, as
- they are still not complete, since they are still being worked on.
-
- What I cannot understand is, with the number of ppl that use
- c.o.l...why is it so hard to split the group? two that come to mind
- might be to put all and any FAQ's into one, posted on a regular basis,
- and fully moderated so that questions can't be posted to it, just
- official FAQ's. The other one might be for 'updates/pathes' for
- those that have the sources, but not necessarily ftp access to be
- able to update their binaries.
