  30. But, seriously, there were a couple of gentlemen who responded to my post
  31. and requested further information.

  33. My SCSI controller card is Dandy SCSI Card with TMC950 chip on it.
  34. Following is what Linux info-sheet says about it.

  37.         Data storage: Generic AT drives (IDE, 16 bit HD controllers
  38.         with MFM or RLL), generic XT controllers (8 bit controllers
  39.         with MFM or RLL) need a special driver (not currently part of
  40.         the standard kernel), SCSI hard disks and CD-ROM.  Supported
  41.         SCSI cards: Adaptec 1542 (but not 1522), the 1740 in extended
  42.         (not 1542 compatible) mode, Seagate ST-01 and ST-02, Future
  43.         Domain TMC-88x series (or any board based on the TMC950 chip)
  44.                                ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
  45.         and TMC1660/1680, Ultrastor 14F, and Western Digital wd7000.
  46.         SCSI and QIC-02 tapes.

  49. If Linux kernet that comes with SLS distribution package has SCSI support
  50. compiled in, why doesn't detect any SCSI device?
