- Frequently, 3.5 and 4.25 inch drives have different connectors on the cable to
- the floppy controller these days. This was the case in my machine, so I just
- took the cable out, took the connectors off and "moved" the twist in the cable
- by simply twisting the appropriate leads at the middle connector and un-
- twisting it at the end connector. The flat ribbon cable connectors re-crimp
- just fine if you are careful and you can save a whole lot of time and a little
- money by not ordering a new custom cable.

- (drooling) while your cable is in the mail.
