  28. The Xega server doesn't seem to be able to use the compressed pcf fonts that 
  29. come with the SLS release. Uncompressing the fonts and updating the 
  30. fonts.dir files in /usr/lib/X11/fonts/misc and 75dpi directories got it  
  31. working for me.

  33. I haven't been able to get it to work in 16 color mode though, xdpyinfo still 
  34. only shows that 1 bit plane is used. If someone knows how to get it to 
  35. recognize the 4 bits / pixel on my (ancient Trident 8800 ) SVGA card I'd 
  36. like to hear about it.
