- Sorry if this is a faq. I have this problem to get Xconsole to grab the
- console device whenever I was logined as user other than root. Running
- the problem as root gives me no trouble at look.

- I tried running Xterm with Console option; that doesn't help.

- I also tried to chown & chgrp "/dev/console" to the user's id, that
- won't work either.

- Though this is a minor problem, I still would like to get it to work.
- Would someone give me any idea in getting this to work.

- PS: I am running the SLS0.99p1 distribution of linux, with Xfree861.1.
