  14. I have had the same problem this weekend. In the kernel makefile is a variable for
  15. the display mode (I do not remember the name). I have changed it to NORMAL_VGA and
  16. have typed make to compile the kernel. After booting the system with the new image,
  17. you have only normal VGA textmode (80x25), but your problem with the synchronisation
  18. is solved.
