- My linux setup with ST-01 works fine with a Quantum scsi hard disk, and
- an SUN (Archive) scsi tape drive. I was trying out however, a ADSI T-100
- tape controller with a ARchive Qic-36 drive. Most of the mt functions
- such as rewind and erase seemed to work, at least the first time.
- None of the read/write functions seemed. They produced an
- "unexpected interrupt" message from "seagate.c", which seemed, according to
- the code to come from the tape board flicking SEL at an unexpected time.
- The higher level error message was simply " I/O error".
-
- I have the manual for the tape controller. The command set seems to
- agree with those in scsi.h. The tape controller claims to support disconnect
- re-connect like newer product. The tape controller is found on bootup.
