- I would like to be able to print to a parallel port on a Linux system.
- Redirect to /dev/lp1 isn't exactly elegant or consistent (it doesn't
- always work).

- So I grabbed "lpr.tar" from the archives....but its very Berkeley
- and networked flavor...both of which I'm not familiar.

- I understand System V lp spooler configurations. Can someone give
- me some hints on how to make this lpr thing work...or point me to
- some other way of printing.
