- I have 2 quicky questions that don't need to be answered on the net unless
- you feel the answers are of value.
-
- 1) I'm mostly happy with minicom, but have some ideas for improvement. Is
- anyone working on this thing, or can I pick up the ball from here? I want
- to work on the thing, but don't feel like re-inventing the wheel that
- someone else is busy working on.
-
- 2) I'd like to start doing mail and news locally under Linux. I have a
- 2400 baud modem. Is there an FAQ file somewhere on this topic, or is
- someone willing to talk with me about it?
-
- Thanks.
-
- PS: Thanks, Linus...I'm thoroughly enjoying Linux. I'm glad I made the
- jump over from DOS. It was worth re-formatting my disk after some initial
- goofups. Keep up the fine work!
-
- -Jeff. :)
