  10. Peter, thanks for all the work on SLS...I flamed a bit earlier about
  11. things not working, so now I would like to be a bit more constructive...
  12. I personally, and I would think a lot of other people as well, are prob-
  13. ably more interested in a distribution on which everything works than
  14. a 'cutting edge' distribution with bells and whistles but broken 
  15. binaries.
  16.         What would be the possibility of 2 distributions, one on which 
  17. everything def. works, and one "latest 'n greatest" one?  Is there 
  18. perhaps something like this on some FTP site other than tsx-11?  It's
  19. very depressing to download megs of stuff at 1200 baud and find that the
  20. same things are broken or perhaps more things break.  
  21.         Anyway, Linux is great, without it I'd be in a constant state
  22. of depression over the state of OS's for my machine.  Thanks Peter and
  23. Linus and all others for all the work.
