- Hi,
-
- Recently I have inherited a couple of old WYSE Terminals and would like
- to try and hang them off of my linux box as dumb terminals. After some
- effort and little success, I thought I'd see if anyone else has done this
- successfully. If so, I would very much like to correspond with you.
- What I have thus far done:
-
- 1. Copied wyse termcap entries from the SUNs at the University
- 2. Added an entry in inittab for the wyse terminal:
-
- ttys0:wyse50:/etc/getty 9600 ttys0
-
- (I also tried ttys0:wyse50:/etc/uugetty ttys0 9600 - with no luck).
-
- Unfortunately, the terminals have no docs so I'm somewhat in the dark
- as to what to try.
-
- Any help would be very much appreciated!
-
- Thanks in advance!
-
- Jean.
