- I have just finished making a two-floppy diskset (boot and root)
- which has most of the stuff (like fsck, efsck) that one would want for
- fixing things up, and runs some network stuff. That is to say, I can
- ftp into the machine and transfer things OK. I have not been able to
- ftp out, or from the machine to itself, or telnet out. I think I can
- telnet in with a little more work.
- All this is packed into a 1.44M disk. I would like to know how the
- SLS root+boot disk makes use of the extra space on the boot disk to
- make a ramdisk root.
- I am posting to announce because I had always wondered if this could
- be done, so I think other people might be interested.
- If there is interest, I will make techniques or images available.
