- Has anyone had problems getting olwm to run on an et4000 card?
- I recently switched to an ET4000 and olwm suddenly decided to make
- the grab bar thing above the windows infinitly long in the Y
- direction....
-
- Otherwise I'm getting more impressed with Linux, I've stuffed in
- just about everything this 486 can physically contain and linux
- doesn't seem to have any problem running it all at the same time.
-
- BTW-
- Weird TCP/IP problem:
- reading large blocks is very very slow. Try read(fd,buff,1000000) vs
- 1000 read(fd,buff,1000)'s on a socket, the second case runs many times
- faster for some reason.
