  27. Now that is weird, cause I have 8 megs of ram, and 16 swap (well, 32 now, but
  28. that is after the fact) and I got the tiff libraries compiled just fine, it
  29. did trash hard on the system, but worked flawlessly.  DON'T try to run X though
  30. while compiling :)
