  14. After recompiling the uucp source in the mailpack-1.3.tar.Z package I'm now
  15. a happy owner of a working 'uucico'. But I have some small problems.

  17. As long as only the slave (which I call, a DEC-Station with Ultrix V4.0
  18. (Rev. 179)) has mails for me, all works alright. I call 'uucico -r1 -s<system>
  19. -x9' and my host gets all waiting mail for me.
  20.  
  21. But ...
  22. if I got mail for sending out OR if NO MAIL exists on both sides, my uucico
  23. breaks with (Time out) !!!!
  24. After looking into usr/sppol/uucp/.Admin/audit.local i saw (it's BNU
  25. configurated) that after asking the slave with 'H' if there is mail, the
  26. slave could send, the slave responds with 'HY' = hangup yes. But I thought
  27. that after that the connection should be finished ! But not at all. My uucico
  28. trys to get some other packages too ! I don't know why ;-((

  115. I think this is'nt the hangup bug I read in c.o.l because it seems that
  116. the patch proposed had already been applied (is in the directory
  117. mailpack1-3/uucp/patches) ;-((
