  18. Until relatively recently, Coherent was a clone of *V7* Unix.  Needless to
  19. say (I do hope!  --Perhaps V7 is unknown to anyone except us old fogies
  20. nowadays) most modern programs require features missing from that ancient
  21. system.

  23. Recent Coherent claims to support at least SVR2 (still rather ancient, these
  24. days) and 4.0 almost has to support SVR3.2 to some extent in order to run
  25. SCO binaries.  But it still lacks (next version is claimed to have)
  26. networking (sockets) and graphics.
