- Kernel .98pl5-49:
- I have just attempted to move executables to a nfs filesystem, but
- I now find that I am not able to execute the progs from there.
- Error:
- Trying to read nonexistant block device 0001 (0)
-
- MAJOR(0001) is 0 which is no_device.
- Something must be calling this routine incorrectly.
- Anyone know of this problem, or what revision is needed to fix it?
-
- I have just picked up the SLS installation (and am running that kernel)
- I do have the sources for .99p2. But have not built it yet.
-
- So, I built .99p2. I 'make disk' and when I attempt to boot off of that disk and
- it is not able to mount root, which is on /dev/hda2. I have that specified
- in the Makefile.
-
- Arrgh! Any hints?
-
- BTW: does anyone have a list of known bugs, and projects being and to be worked
- on?
-
- Thanks,
- -Pete
