  14.     Hello Gentlemen.

  16. After a bit of reading today in c.o.l I decided to make sure that my system had
  17. "the right stuff". So, I made sure of links, makefile ( I once got a finish
  18. one by mistake!) sound support, scsi, etc... and recompiled. No problemo.

  20. Right after recompilation I fdformatted a floppy and typed "make disk".Swell.
  21.  
  22. Problem is, to test this, I 'synced' about 10 times :) and then typed
  23. "reboot".
  24. Usual message, bounce... bounce. System halts.

  27. That's it. Any ideas?

  29. 486/33 8 megs ram WDC IDE, Trident card.
  30. Never experienced this before.
