- Problems installing Linus SLS to a Bernoulli cartridge.
-
- With the Adaptec bios disabled( as it must be to run aspi4dos and aspidisk
- under DOS) the a1 disk recognizes the existence of the 1542 and the system then
- hangs.
-
- With bios enabled, the BErnoulli is correctly identified and the boot proceeds
- normally. However, under Linux FDISK cannot recognize the scsi device (per
- documentation) and under DOS PFDISK will not recognize my scsi removable
- either. My crude understanding is that if I can partition the Bernoulli
- for a minix file system while under DOS I should be able to install to it
- under Linux. With or without bios enabled, though, pfdisk will not recognize
- my scsi Bernoulli.
-
- My boot drive is an RLL mr535 controlled by bios on a western digital
- controller and partitioned as C: and D: extended.
-
- There is no entry in AT CMOS for secons drive.
-
- I have read through all the FAQs I can find but can't locate a solution.
-
- Has anyone similar experience or recommendations?
-
- __thanks very much!!
