- I understand that this is a new experience for most people. They are
- installing and using unix for the first time. But, there are other news groups
- out there other than this one.

- People seem to think that since they installed linux, that only the linux
- group has answers. Comp.unix.questions would be able to answer questions
- about tar for instance. Also, since this was a problem with installation,
- emailing the author would also work. This news group gets way too many
- question that could better be answered in other groups or just by email.

- I not trying to say people shouldn't post problems here, but use your
- heads first. If its a unix question in general, post it to a general
- unix group.
