  13. I am trying to get olvwm running on my system, which is as follows:
  14.
  15. 486/33, 8Mb RAM
  16. Linux SLS 0.98p5 with kernel 0.99pl1-46
  17. X386S3-0.3.1 server
  18.
  19. olwm and twm both work fine.
  20. However, having unpacked olvwm-bin.tar.Z and put the files in the appropriate
  21. places, I replaced the line 'exec olwm -f' from /usr/X386/lib/X11/xinit/xinitrc
  22. with 'exec olvwm -f'.
  23.
  24. On typing startx, X appeared.  No applications appeared (I should have seen
  25. xbiff, xclock and an xterm), and after a few seconds the server spontaneously
  26. shut down with no explanation.  Anybody got any ideas?
  27.
