  11. Hi All
  12. I have tried the new networkstuff in net-bin-0.2.tar.Z in sunsite.unc.edu 
  13. (incoming) and have had a few problems:
  14. with the new inetd after bootup linux the login on tty1 asks me for id and
  15. passwd but after that i can not give any further comand, the logins on tty2-4
  16. work o.k.. I installed the old inetd and it worked good.

  18. Also ls in ftp seems to work with the old inetd but not with the new one.

  20. talk also did not work with the new inetd but works now with the old one.

  22. with rsh, and rlogin i have alway had some problems: they work o.k. until
  23. i give a misspelled command: 'rsh sg1501 foo' (foo does not exist), after
  24. dis nither rsh nor rlogin will do anything, they simply wait until i press
  25. ctrl-c, even when i try with something like 'rsh sg1501 ls' which worked 
  26. before.

  28. The other progs work fine for me now. (telnet is not that fast)
