  20. tcsh should work fine until you get to the libc.so.4.2 jumptable, but
  21. that should not be a big deal because the binary that is available
  22. was linked with the 4.1 jumptable. This means you want to leave it around
  23. unless you rebuild tcsh.

  25. I have built tcsh-6.03 under 0.99p2 with the new gcc (2.3.3) and
  26. libc.so.4.2. The problem I had was discovering that sed had broken,
  27. and once I recompiled sed, the build succeeded. I don't recall any
  28. other problems.  It works fine except for possibly one problem with
  29. pipes. I'm not sure yet whether that is a problem with tcsh or not
  30. though.
