- The university that I attend has an on campus serial network which I am
- trying to connect to my Linux system in my dorm room. Here's the useful
- information. Upon receipt of an incoming connection, CD drops
- momentarily. This seems to be the problem in getting getty to accept
- incoming sessions. Any ideas? Here's my machine:
-
- 386DX/40 256K cache
- 4 meg memory
- 125 meg IDE hard drive
- One of those new fangled cheap IDE/2S/1P/1G cards. Ports are on normal
- ints and at normal locations. If anyone thinks that they can help, I'll
- send all of the specifics you would like.
-
- I would like to thank everyone on this group, you have been an
- inspiration. Thanks one and all.
-
- Sincerly,
