  13. The university that I attend has an on campus serial network which I am
  14. trying to connect to my Linux system in my dorm room.  Here's the useful
  15. information.  Upon receipt of an incoming connection, CD drops
  16. momentarily.  This seems to be the problem in getting getty to accept
  17. incoming sessions.  Any ideas?  Here's my machine:

  19. 386DX/40 256K cache
  20. 4 meg memory
  21. 125 meg IDE hard drive
  22. One of those new fangled cheap IDE/2S/1P/1G cards.  Ports are on normal
  23. ints and at normal locations.  If anyone thinks that they can help, I'll
  24. send all of the specifics you would like.
