  14.    I also am a 1742 EISA SCSI user that is having the same problems 
  15. with the fdisk command as others with the latest SLS release.
  16.    I am in ENHANCED MODE.

  18.    fdisk /dev/hda  
  19.    unable to read hda    <--- + tried all permutations hda1..
  20.    fdisk /dev/sda
  21.    unable to open sda             "     "      "       sda1..
  22.  
  23.    I have noticed that during the a1 boot phase, I get:
  24.    scsi : 0 hosts.
  25.    scsi : detected 0 SCSI disks
  26.  
  27.    Of course, fdisk is being executed in a2 utility phase 
  28. as per SLS instructions.  No combinations work.
  29.  
  30.    Eric et. al. any advice ?  other than `fdisk /dev/sda'
