  18. Well, there's ImageMagick, but xv looks groovier, and they're about the
  19. same, really...

  21. if you can do without X, there's dpg-view, but it only does up to about
  22. 320x400 or something (no SVGA, only tweaked VGA at most)...

  24. I can't say it bothers me, really - I've got a 386dx-25 with 8mb as well,
  25. and, now that I think of it, yeah, there is a pause, but it's about as good
  26. as you'll get on these machines anyway, I guess.
  27. The only reason (more or less) that DOS gif viewers are faster is that 
  28. they've got nothing better to do at the same time :)
