- I don't know of any software problems. But Linux (as well as all
- versions of Unix) is more sensitive to substandard memory than DOS is.
- So you could have a slightly marginal SIMM, or SIMM's whose timing
- isn't quite fast enough for your system. I haven't seen the problem
- with Linux, but I have seen it with SVr4 and Mach.
