  14. i am trying to install linux.

  16. i tried to make file system but it doesn't work.

  18. i have a 110MB harddisk and i use the whole thing as one partition for LINUX

  20. then i did: mkfs /dev/hda1 147700 (something like that)
  21.  
  22. and it said that the limit of the number of blocks is 65535.
  23.  
  24. so how can i utilize the whole hard disk for linux?

  26. do i have to make several partitions?
