- hi everyone,
-
- i am now installing linux .98p5.
-
- i just followed what the README file tells me to do and up to the point
- that i use fdisk to create a partition for LINUX.
-
- i have two hard disks. i am using the first hard disk (110MB) for Linux.
- i used FDISK in DOS to delete the original DOS partition on the first HD
- and then boot up A1. then i put in A2 and use fdisk.
-
- after i use the command "w", i rebooted the computer as mentioned in the
- readme file. but the computer reads drive A, which has the disk A2 in it...
- and it didn't boot up. so i took out A2 and boot from hard disk, and it
- says: NO ROM BASIC... SYSTEM HALTED...
-
- what should i do? should i boot with A1 instead? and what do i do after
- booting up A1? or what should i do at all?
-
- any suggestion is appreciated.
-
- thanks in advance
-
