-
- you need to set your hostname in /etc/rc
-
- you need to set the visible_name in /usr/local/lib/smail/config
- to correctly indicate your hostname.domain

-
- for elm2.3.11, you'll need to set your domain in /usr/lib/domains
- or /usr/local/lib/elm/domains (can't remember how I set it up).
-
- for elm2.4.17, you'll need to set your domain in /usr/local/lib/elm/elm.rc
-
- for news, you need to edit (at a minimum):
-
- /usr/bin/Pnews and Rnmail to set your hostname.domain
- /usr/local/lib/news/whoami, mailname, mailpaths, organization,
-
-
- then you'll hopefully be ready to setup your newsfeed normally
- like you'd do for any other C-news site.
