- I've just gotten 0.99pl working from the SLS distribution. Thanks to
- all the people who have contributed to this package. It was a nice
- easy install!
-
- However....:-) there are two problems.
-
- 1) When in X the keyboard translation seem wrong. I'm using a UK
- keyboard but X seems to think it's a US. I have rebuilt the kernel
- for a UK keyboard and the translation work fine when not in X. I'm
- not an X guru. Any clues?
-
- 2) I have four serial ports. The second pair are on the high interrupts
- (I can't remember what numbers offhand). The kernel autodetects them
- (I found the missing underline in one of the config files!) correctly.
- When not in X I can "od </dev/ttys0" the mouse and run kermit on /dev/ttys3 without
- problems. When in X running kermit on /dev/ttys3 permanently kills the
- mouse. Any clues?
-
- Many thanks in advance.... gary
