- Is it possible to manually rebuild a corrupt superblock ???
-
- I ask because I managed to thrash my Coherent partition over the christmas
- - it will boot far as Loading the keyboard driver and then hang. I can't
- mount it after booting from floppy, and fsck tells me I have a Bad Super
- Block!!
-
- I'm certain most of the data on the disk is intact, and the closest thing
- I have to a backup is my installation disks (yeah I know, it serves me
- right!). Is there anything I can do to access the partition to salvage
- some data ????
