  13.   You might want to consider cross-posting your periodic posting to
  14. the news.answers newsgroup, which is meant to serve as a repository
  15. for quick browsing and archiving of periodic postings.  News.answers
  16. is a useful resource for USENET users, and each new periodic posting
  17. that is cross-posted to it makes it more useful.

  19.   Even if you don't want to submit to news.answers, you might want to
  20. get an entry for your posting in the "List of Periodic Informational
  21. Postings."

  23.   In any case, you should try to use a consistent Subject line format
  24. when posting your article.  This provides two advantages:

  26. 1. People who do not want to see it can easily use KILL files or
  27.    other, similar mechanisms to avoid it, and

  29. 2. Automatic periodic posting archivers can archive it based on its
  30.    Subject line.
