  11. SAGE Election Results

  13. Below is a correction to the information previously supplied 
  14. concerning Terms of the newly-elected SAGE Board of Directors.
  15.  
  16. In this first election, 6 directors were elected (below).  
  17. In this first year, 3 members were elected for 2-year terms (top 
  18. 3 vote getters), and 3 members elected for 1-year terms (next 
  19. 3 vote getters).  In deference to a strong desire by the
  20. USENIX Board of Directors for continuity, it was agreed that
  21. Elizabeth Zwicky, the interim president appointed in 1992, will
  22. automatically serve her remaining one-year term on the first elected 
  23. board.  In subsequent elections, alternately three and four 
  24. members will be chosen for two-year terms.

  26. The SAGE Board of Directofs will choose its own officers after
  27. each general elections (every year).
