  12. As much as it irks me to urge people to contribute to pollution, let me
  13. remind attendees that San Diego has virtually no public transportation
  14. system in the area of the conference.

  16. Whilst taxis are available, and the various shuttles will get you to
  17. and from the hotel, airport, and train stations, if you're planning to
  18. do any exploring or sight-seeing, you're going to have to have a car.
  19.  
  20. And if the rain doesn't stop soon, the conference center is going to be
  21. underwater.  Bring a swimsuit.
