- As much as it irks me to urge people to contribute to pollution, let me
- remind attendees that San Diego has virtually no public transportation
- system in the area of the conference.

- Whilst taxis are available, and the various shuttles will get you to
- and from the hotel, airport, and train stations, if you're planning to
- do any exploring or sight-seeing, you're going to have to have a car.

- And if the rain doesn't stop soon, the conference center is going to be
- underwater. Bring a swimsuit.
